Making of palettes earrings by caithness155 Making of palettes earrings by caithness155
As it seems that many of you like my palette earrings [link] , I decided to make a tuto to show you how they are made, and maybe give you the desire to make yours!
I tried not to use too many words, as english is not my first langage, so I illustrated clearely every step, I hope you'll understand them easely. Comment for further info.
Enjoy.

:bulletyellow: Material:
polymer clay (FIMO soft), blade, glaze, jewelry findings

Do you know if u can do the hole afterwards without a drill? Like... With a needle, nail or something?
And should I let it cool down before making the holes?

Completely awesome btw, I'm so gonna try this!

Very helpful and clear pictures. How long do you normally bake the clay? Thank you!

it depends on the brand, FIMO is 20-30 min I think

Woah! This looks super (and professional, too)

I've had that idea for a long time now, but with a square set of qatercolours. Never got to do it, because i'm uber-lazy. Or because I wanted to carve it from wood..:hmm:

Anyway, this is so beautiful, especially I liked the brush. Problem is I only have a one colour fimo. I paint everything afterwards, right?..

thank you!
yes sure you can use white fimo and paint it afterward with acrylic paint. I've been told it's better to mix the paint with some liquid saop, so that the paint sticks and covers more the clay once it's baked.

thank you so much!
I put a circle of fetl on my mini driller, turn it on at a low speed on the edges, it will help you to have smooth edges.
(sorry for my bad english :XD:)
